Q. How can I apply?
You need to apply online at the University job opportunities page by clicking the Apply online button in the advert. You will need an email address to register for the online system. You will need to upload a completed Application Form together with your CV. Covering letters are not required.
If you have technical difficulties with the online system, then contact technical recruitment support for help.
Q. Can I apply if I haven’t studied at Cambridge?
Yes. From 2020 we will be accepting applications from non-Cambridge graduates.
Q. Can I apply if I graduated more than five years ago?
No. We ask that applicants have completed their studies within the last five years so you must have graduated in summer 2015 or more recently. If you are not eligible but are interested in a career in higher education you should be able to find a number of opportunities on the University job site.
Q. Can I apply with a lower second-class (2:2) degree?
No. Unfortunately we are only able to accept applications from candidates who have achieved a minimum 2:1 at bachelor's level.
Q. Can I apply if I am graduating with a Master’s degree or PhD?
Yes. Although we ask that applicants have graduated within the last five years you are still eligible to apply if you have graduated with a Master's degree or a PhD within the last five years.
Q. Where will the assessment centre be held?
The assessment centre will be held at Greenwich House, Madingley Road, Cambridge, CB3 OTX.
